Let’s not bury the lede: there are new PupperPost themes!
A blog theme is your chance to make your PupperPost blog your own. And now, paid PupperPost users will be able to select from five great themes, providing colour, personality and distinction to your blog.
I’m really happy with these themes, created by developer/designer Nick Spreen. They provide a broad range of styles, and they look great on mobile or desktop browsers. And I’m really proud to say they automatically support dark mode based on your system’s settings.
Let’s take a quick tour of the five themes. No surprise, the themes are named after kinds of pupper!
Spaniel
Spaniel is the default PupperPost theme, available to all users. It’s simple, crisp and clear, maximizing readability while still looking elegant.
Beagle
Beagle is the “academic” theme, adding a classic touch to your blog. Beagle isn’t showy, but it’s reliable and relatable.
Yorkie
Yorkie is our “technical” theme, inspired by the terminal with monospace fonts and nifty colours. Yorkies are the 1337 hAX0rZ of PupperPost.
Schnauzer
Schnauzer is our “modern” theme, with bright, bold type and a broad body font. Like any good schnauzer, it’s as individual as you are.
Corgi
Corgi might be my fave theme, for lovers of retro computing. Retro colours, old-school fonts and a gorgeous Jazz-inspired background make this an instant classic, just like a corgi.
